Where LA books the patch bar
Convention crowds downtown are our biggest LA category — the conference sling-bag story in our case studies happened blocks from the LA Convention Center. Studio lots and production wrap parties book chenille for exactly the nostalgia it carries on camera. Westside brand pop-ups use the press-in-the-window play, and hotel ballrooms from DTLA to Santa Monica run it as the between-courses activity.

- Load-ins around LA traffic: we schedule setup windows against the venue’s actual dock calendar, not optimistic drive times.

A note on LA crowds
LA guests are the most design-literate we press for — they treat the lay-out table like an art project, and average composition time runs a beat longer than anywhere else. We staff LA lines accordingly and stock the shape drawer deeper. Booking windows that matter here
Award season and the big convention weeks pull venues, vendors, and parking in every direction at once, so LA dates inside those windows deserve a month of runway. Ordinary weekends are far friendlier — two to three weeks is comfortable, mostly to source blanks in your exact palette rather than whatever is on the shelf.
