Proof of pile: photos from the patch bar floor.
Every image here is from a real Merch Troop event — no renders, no stock. Look for the two tells of a proper chenille piece: the way light sits differently across the loop pile, and the stitched border keeping the felt base honest.

Reading a patch bar photo like a planner
Three details in these shots do real planning work. First, the ring of spectators — count the people watching versus pressing and you understand why the station doubles as entertainment even for guests who never queue. Second, the finished pieces on people, not tables: chenille leaves the station being worn, which is the whole return on the spend. Third, the footprints — notice how the mezzanine and concourse builds compress to one table while the convention builds sprawl. The station scales to the room, not the other way around.
Photographers and marketing teams: shoot the lay-out table over the guest’s shoulder and the press at the moment of lift. Those two frames — choice and reveal — are the ones that travel on social, and we will happily hold a composition an extra beat for your camera. If you need higher-resolution versions of any shot here for a planning deck or venue approval, ask through the form and we will send originals along with the layout drawings for your room size.
